The Event
This is your opportunity to honor your personal Hero - an individual who has had a direct impact on your life - with a 3' x 5' US Flag on a 10' Pole. Our goal is to honor more than 250 Heroes.
Funds raised through Flags for Heroes support the community service activities and grants funded by the Rotary Club of Wesley Chapel Foundation. Our focus this year is the Year of the underdog, honoring unsung community heroes.
Flags for Heroes is a national program, successfully hosted by various Rotary clubs across the country. We are thrilled to join them in honoring the heroes in our community and beyond.
Honor YOUR hero
Who is YOUR Hero?
Heroes may include persons impactful to your life, whether they be coaches, grandparents, supportive spouses, military personnel, first responders, health care workers, amazing child, impactful teachers, and more.
A hero can be someone who is admired or idealized by you or someone close to you. If you are unsure of whom to honor, a local recipient can be chosen on your behalf to receive the honor and accompanying letter.
Your hero's name will be honored on placards at the 4 entrances to the Tampa Premium Outlets, displayed on HUGE Screen by Acme on the Go at the event and published on our website and Facebook page.
If you provide a mailing address for your hero, he or she will receive a thank you card for being a hero hand-signed by the Wesley Chapel Rotary club President & Flags for Heroes Commttee Chair.
